I have always wanted to make a living doing something that moves me. For a long time, I thought it would be music. Eventually, photography found its way into my life, and I discovered another way of expressing something I could never quite put into words.

I find inspiration in music, beautiful images, the way light transforms a place, or simply the atmosphere of a room. Sometimes it is difficult to explain exactly what makes something so captivating.

Photography gives me a way to explore that feeling.

There is a particular moment I am always looking for. It can happen anywhere, often when I least expect it. A gesture, an expression, the way the light falls on someone, the energy of a room. For a fraction of a second, everything comes together, and I know there is a photograph there before I have even had time to think about it.

That feeling is still addictive to me.

I love creating beautiful images. Finding the right composition, working with light, imagining a photograph and seeing it come to life. I want my photographs to have character and feel alive. But I am equally fascinated by everything that escapes my control, when life offers something far more interesting than anything I could have planned.

That is what I love so much about weddings. Being right in the middle of it all, surrounded by people, their personalities, their relationships, and everything that happens in between.

I want the people I photograph to feel comfortable enough to forget about being photographed. To enjoy themselves and trust that I will be there for the moments that matter, without taking them away from the experience.

There is something else about photography that I find quite extraordinary.

Everything I photograph is already disappearing. The light changes, the expression is gone, the moment is over. Yet somehow, that fraction of a second can remain with us for the rest of our lives. I love the idea that something so fleeting can stay with us for so long.

That is what keeps me taking photographs: the pleasure of creating something beautiful, the excitement of discovering something unexpected, and the rather magical possibility of making a moment last.
